Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using impdf.app (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. Description of Service
impdf.app provides free, web-based PDF processing tools including but not limited to file conversion, merging, splitting, compression, rotation, cropping, encryption, decryption, watermarking, and other document management functionalities. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We strive to provide accurate and reliable results, but we cannot guarantee that the output of any tool will be error-free, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy and quality of any output produced by the Service. We recommend reviewing all processed documents before using them for important purposes such as legal filings, business contracts, academic submissions, or official correspondence.
User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the content of any files you upload to the Service. You must have the legal right to upload and process all files submitted to the Service. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to upload and process all files through the Service. You must not upload any files that contain content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
You agree not to use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Service through hacking, password mining, or any other means. You must not use the Service to transmit any viruses, worms, defects, Trojan horses, or other items of a destructive nature. You must not interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service.
Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding content uploaded by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of impdf.app and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of impdf.app. You retain all rights to the files you upload, and we claim no ownership or intellectual property rights over your content.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal or commercial use, subject to these Terms. This license does not include the right to modify, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service, or to use the Service for competitive analysis or to build a similar product or service.
File Processing & Storage
When you upload files to the Service, they are processed on our secure servers and automatically deleted within 2 hours of processing completion. We do not store, read, analyze, or share the contents of your files beyond what is necessary to perform the requested operation. While we take reasonable measures to protect the security of your files, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You acknowledge and agree that impdf.app shall not be responsible for any loss, corruption, or damage to your files during transmission or processing. We strongly recommend that you maintain backup copies of all important files before uploading them to the Service. In no event shall impdf.app be liable for any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from the use of or inability to use the Service.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall impdf.app, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (c) any content obtained from the Service; or (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
Our total liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or relating to the use of or inability to use the Service shall not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100) or the amount you paid to use the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including without limitation ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede any prior agreements we might have had.
